Becoming a Board Member

We are always searching for new board members to join our EDAS team. EDAS is not a member-based club but is comprised of a small cohort of board members. As an EDAS board member, you are required to attend weekly meetings, engage in conversations about preventative-based ED education, attend tabling events, and help plan and execute community activities and events on campus. Our three board member positions are outlined below along with application forms. For questions, use the contact form at the end of the page.

Presenter

Join our team as a Presenter, your role will involve conducting presentations across campus, coordinating outreach efforts, being comfortable public speaking and presenting, participating in training sessions, and actively engaging with the EDAS team and related activities. Your role will be integral in spreading awareness and support through preventative-based eating disorder education. Learn more about our presentations under the "Our Presentations" tab.

Social Media & Design Coordinator

Join our team as a Social Media Coordinator, responsible for creating engaging social media content using Canva, collaborating with EDAS board members, attending monthly meetings, and maintaining the EDAS brand across platforms. Your role will play a crucial part in promoting awareness and support for eating disorders and positive relationships with food and body.

Toy Brain

Education & Training Specialist

Join us as an Education and Training Coordinator, in charge of informing EDAS board members about ED-related content and topics, conducting research to deepen knowledge, creating presentations, training presenters, and collaborating with ED professionals on and off campus. Your role will contribute to educating and connecting with professionals while promoting awareness of eating disorders and related issues.
